
Grumman F-14 Tomcat
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a two-seat, twin-engine, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft designed for the U.S. Navy. Introduced in 1974, it excelled in air superiority, fleet defense, and reconnaissance roles. Known for its speed, agility, and long-range AIM-54 Phoenix missile capability, the F-14 became iconic through its service in the Cold War and Top Gun. It was retired by the U.S. Navy in 2006 but remains in service with Iran.
